The Papasian brothers are both mainstays in the Connecticut BJJ competition circuit and have both fought in the MMA arena. With nearly twenty-five years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience between them, Kirkor and Julian were long overdue for this promotion and were happy to receive it from a legend like Macarrao.
Known for their eclectic and entertaining styles, the brothers are tournament veterans. Kirkor's style is based on constant movement and unexpected twists and turns, while Julian's rubbery legs allow for an octopus-like guard game.
The Papasians train in and around the South Eastern Connecticut area and now bring the "east side" Macarra family up to six brown belts.
